Sobremesa
Sobremesa was Steve Saka’s homecoming. After years running Drew Estate, Saka stepped away, sat out a non-compete, and returned in 2015 with his own company, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, and its first cigar. The name is the Spanish word for the unhurried hour spent around the table after a meal, talking and smoking, which is exactly the mood he was after.
Saka brings his own tobaccos to the historic Joya de Nicaragua factory in EstelÃ, where Sobremesa is rolled. The blend runs four countries deep: a dark Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper, a Mexican binder, and a filler of Nicaraguan leaf and Pennsylvania Broadleaf. Medium to full, with sweetness, spice, cedar, and coffee, Sobremesa cigars reward taking your time.
