Handmade in Honduras, the Island Jim Connecticut #2 Torpedo is a Connecticut-wrapped torpedo from Island Jim.

It blends an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a mild to medium body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 6 1/2 by 52, it burns cool and even.

The Connecticut River Valley still grows the original, but most Connecticut wrappers on the market now are Ecuadorian, raised from the same seed at a fraction of the cost.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
