La Gloria Cubana Vintage Tabletop Quad Torch Lighter Copper

A tabletop torch lighter, built to sit on a table and stay there rather than ride in a pocket. The weight is the point: you light a cigar one handed without the lighter sliding across the table.

Four jets meet in the middle and lay a wide ring of heat across the whole foot at once, which is where a quad earns its keep, on the 60 ring gauges that turn a single jet into a chore.

A branded piece from La Gloria Cubana, a name that goes back to 1885 in Havana.

Multi jet lighters trade fuel for speed. They light a thick cigar in seconds and empty a tank in a fraction of the time a single jet would.
