My Father Espresso Cup Set of 2 with Saucers and Spoons

A set of two espresso cups with matching saucers and spoons, in gold and red porcelain, carrying the My Father name. My Father is the Garcia family’s cigar house in Esteli, and this is the kind of piece that ends up on the counter of a shop or a lounge as much as in a kitchen.

Each cup holds 3 ounces, a proper demitasse size: enough for a double shot with a little room, without the crema spreading thin across a mug. Porcelain holds heat well, and it holds it better if you warm the cups first with hot water, since a cold cup pulls the temperature out of a shot within seconds.

Espresso is the pairing cigar smokers come back to most, and for good reason. The roast and bitterness sit right alongside the cocoa and pepper in a Nicaraguan cigar rather than competing with them, which is exactly the kind of cigar My Father makes.
