Diamond Crown

Diamond Crown is J.C. Newman’s prestige cigar, and it was born from a milestone. To mark the company’s 100th anniversary in 1995, Stanford Newman worked with his friend Carlos Fuente Jr. to create the finest cigar they could, with no regard for cost or time. The result, launched in 1996, was the Diamond Crown Classic, made by the Fuente family in the Dominican Republic. It broke ground as the first cigar built on a thick 54 ring gauge, at a time when 52 was as big as cigars went. Aged five years and wrapped in silky Connecticut Shade over Dominican tobacco, the Classic is smooth and refined. The line later grew bolder with Maximus and the dark Black Diamond. Polished and well-aged, Diamond Crown cigars are a benchmark of Dominican craftsmanship.
