Description

At a slim 43 ring, the Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Corona puts more of its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper against the blend. Created by Carlito Fuente and made by the Fuente family in the Dominican Republic, it pairs that wrapper with Dominican and Caribbean tobaccos aged five years, at a medium body.

The narrow ring brings the cedar and cream forward, with light coffee and a clean, nutty sweetness. At 5 1/2 by 43, the corona is a slower, more wrapper-driven smoke.

The medium body suits earlier in the day as easily as the evening. It comes as singles or boxes of 20, so one is an easy starting point. A slim, classic Dominican corona.
