Description

Cool Brew is Asylum’s take on an aromatic cigar. It debuted at the PCA trade show in July 2023, following Asylum 867, and it’s now a regular production line. The 770 is its 7 by 70 size.

Asylum hasn’t named the wrapper beyond calling it a maduro. The binder and filler are Honduran, and the cigar is steeped in flavors CLE hasn’t disclosed, then finished with a sweetened cap.

In its review of the 6 by 60, Cigar Coop noted a chocolate mint aroma and flavors of mocha, mint, earth, cream and wood, at a medium strength and body. Christian Eiroa said at launch that cigars like Cool Brew would bring brand new smokers to Asylum. The 770 comes in boxes of 20.

Pairs well with coffee, espresso, or milk stout.
