Description

Handmade in Nicaragua, the CAO Amazon Basin Daggers 5-Cigar Pack is an Ecuadorian Sumatra-wrapped small cigar from CAO. CAO was founded by Cano A. Ozgener, an engineer who first made meerschaum pipes before moving into cigars.

It blends an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder with Brazilian Braganca, Colombian and Dominican filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, coffee, black pepper, and a sweet, earthy core. At 4 by 38, the slim format pushes the wrapper forward and burns a touch faster.

Indonesian Sumatra leaf built the Dutch cigar trade long before it turned up on premium cigars, and it still shows up wherever someone wants earth and sweetness without pepper.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
