Nub Nuance Double Roast 460 4″ x 60

Nub started from a simple idea: most cigars hit their sweet spot an inch or two in, so start there. Nuance is the gentler side of the brand, and the roast names mark how dark each blend runs. These were the Nub Cafe blends before the rename, Single Roast as Cappuccino, Double Roast as Macchiato and Triple Roast as Espresso.

A Sumatra wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, with a sweetened cap that plays into the coffee theme. Expect white chocolate, coffee, cedar and cream, with sweet spice late.

The 460 is the thickest of the three sizes. A 60 ring on a four inch cigar keeps the smoke cool and the burn slow, and it is the one to reach for when you want the Nub format without rushing.

Pairs well with coffee, espresso, or amber ale.
