Description

From Perla del Mar, the Perla del Mar Corojo Robusto is a Corojo-wrapped robusto, handmade in Nicaragua.

It blends a Honduran Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with leather, red pepper, dry cedar, and a sweet, earthy core. At 4 3/4 by 52, it burns cool and even.

Honduras grows more Corojo than anywhere, most of it in the Jamastran valley, and Honduran Corojo on a band is close to a house style: cedar, red pepper and a dry, leathery finish.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
