Description

Emerald is the easygoing end of the Rocky Patel range, built for flavour rather than force, and rolled at Patel’s own factory in Esteli.

An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers Mexican, Nicaraguan binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, medium in body. Expect malted milk, mocha, cedar and coffee, smoother than a Habano wrapper usually reads. At 5 1/2 by 50, the robusto keeps it concentrated and gets to the point.

The dual binder is the unusual part. Almost every cigar uses one; running two leaves, Mexican and Nicaraguan, is a blender filling a gap one leaf leaves open.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
