Description

handmade in Nicaragua, the Rocky Patel Gold Label Robusto is a Habano-wrapped robusto from Rocky Patel. Rocky Patel worked as a Hollywood entertainment lawyer before he turned to making cigars.

It blends an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Connecticut Shade and Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, black pepper, espresso, and a sweet, leathery spice. At 5 1/2 by 50, it burns cool and even.

Habano leaf takes its colour from sun. The higher on the plant it grows the darker and stronger it gets, which is why two cigars both labelled Habano can sit a full step apart in strength.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or porter.
