Foundation Aksum Claro Toro 6″ x 52

The Toro is the standard size in Foundation’s Sumatra-wrapped Aksum Claro. The Foundation Aksum Claro Toro sets an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Connecticut broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan filler, box-pressed at a medium to full body.

The flavor usually leans toward cedar, coffee, nuts, and a peppery sweetness. At 6 by 52, the box-pressed toro gives a long, even burn.

The medium to full body suits later in the day or a longer sit. It is sold as singles or boxes of 10, so one is an easy first taste. A box-pressed Foundation blend from Nick Melillo.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
