Description

Drew Estate’s Esteli factory makes Liga Privada and Undercrown. It also makes this, which is most of the appeal.

A Connecticut Shade wrapper covers an Indonesian binder with Indonesian and Nicaraguan filler, mild to medium. Expect cream, cedar and a light almond sweetness. At 6 by 52 the toro is the middle size, and the one most people reach for.

These are mixed filler. Some whole leaf, but a lot of chopped leaf and cuttings bunched inside a real binder and wrapper. It lights easily, burns a little faster and hotter than all long filler, and stays roughly where it starts.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
