Boveda Humidifier 60 Gram 65%

A Boveda sixty gram two way humidity pack at 65% relative humidity, the driest level Boveda makes.

Two way is the important part. A sponge or a crystal jar can only add moisture, so it pushes a humidor upward and you correct by opening the lid. A Boveda pack holds a set number by both releasing and absorbing, which means it fixes an over humidified box as readily as a dry one.

It runs on a salt solution rather than water and needs no distilled water, no topping up and no propylene glycol. Put it in, close the lid, and leave it. Each pack lasts roughly two to four months depending on how well the humidor seals and how often it gets opened, and it is spent when it turns stiff and the contents feel solid rather than pliable.

The sixty gram size suits a desktop humidor of roughly twenty five cigars, and larger boxes simply take more than one. Pick one number and stick to it, since packs at different levels in the same humidor spend their lives fighting each other.
