A single jet torch from Firebird, the everyday line from Colibri, built to live in a pocket and actually get used.

One jet is the honest choice for most cigars. It drinks far less fuel than a triple, so a tank lasts, and on anything up to a robusto you are not chasing the foot around to get an even toast. Move up to a multi jet when you are lighting big ring gauges every day.

The body is plastic with a fuel window down the side, so you can see what is left before you walk out rather than finding out halfway through a cigar. It refills with butane and the flame adjuster sits on the bottom. Colibri altitude tests it to 12,000 feet, and it comes with a wrist lanyard.

Keep the flame short. Cranked all the way up a jet wastes fuel and scorches the edge of the wrapper, and a cigar lit gently is better for the first inch.
