The No. 3 is a size from My Father, the blend Jaime Garcia named for his father, Jose “Pepin” Garcia. The family grows much of its own tobacco in Nicaragua and rolls it at their factory in Esteli.

A Cuban seed Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and filler, medium to full in body. Expect pepper and cedar early, then espresso and sweet spice through the middle. At 6 by 49, the slimmer ring lets the wrapper carry more of the flavour than it would on a thicker size.

Pepin Garcia is one of the people most responsible for the Cuban style of Nicaraguan cigar that dominates the shelves now. He rolled in Cuba for decades before leaving in the early 2000s, and his son built this brand as a thank you.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
