Description

The bundle line from Drew Estate: no box, no band ceremony, priced accordingly.

A Connecticut Shade wrapper covers an Indonesian binder with Indonesian and Nicaraguan filler, mild to medium. Expect cream, cedar and a light almond sweetness. At 6 by 60 the ring is wide enough to keep the smoke cool, which flatters mixed filler more than a slim size would.

The saving comes from the filler. Instead of whole leaves running the length of the cigar, the core is chopped leaf and offcuts from long filler production, which is why a bundle costs about what one premium cigar does.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
