La Flor Dominicana Ligero Natural L-400 5 3/4″ x 54

The L-400 is the size most people reach for in La Flor Dominicana’s Ligero line, a 5 3/4 x 54 that delivers the blend’s power without committing to a two hour smoke. Ligero refers to the top priming of the plant, the leaves that take the most sun and carry the most strength, and LFD grows its own on Litto Gómez’s La Canela farm in the Dominican Republic. An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper sits over Dominican binder and filler. It opens spicy and earthy with cedar and black pepper, then a creamy texture and a dark fruit sweetness come up underneath to balance the intensity. Full bodied throughout and best on a full stomach. Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or a porter.
