Description

Decade was built for Rocky Patel’s tenth anniversary, and it has stayed in the catalogue because it earned its place, not because of the occasion.

An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper covers Mexican binder and Honduran and Panamanian filler, medium to full in body. Expect cedar, cocoa, coffee and sweet spice, with a firm Honduran backbone. At 6 1/2 by 52, the toro is long enough to develop without turning heavy.

Panamanian leaf in the filler is unusual, and a Mexican binder sits between it and the Sumatra wrapper. Box pressing tightens the bunch and slows the burn.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
