Acid

ACID is Drew Estate’s infused line, and it more or less created the aromatic cigar category as people know it today. The trick is in the curing: instead of standard barns, Drew Estate ages the tobacco in sealed “aroma rooms” packed with more than 150 herbs, oils, and botanicals, a proprietary process that scents the leaf from the inside rather than spraying on cheap flavoring. The name and the bold, graffiti-style packaging come from Brooklyn street artist Scott “Acid” Chester, who helped launch the brand in 1999. Everything is rolled at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua, with Nicaraguan long-filler under Connecticut or Sumatra wrappers. The thick, sweet-tipped Kuba Kuba and the mellow little Blondie are its most popular blends. ACID cigars split opinion among purists, but the following speaks for itself.
