Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Impromptu 6 1/2″ x 52

The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Impromptu is the figurado of the Concerto line, from Rafael Nodal’s Aging Room and made by AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua. Concerto is the third blend in the Quattro Nicaragua family, after the original and Sonata, and like the rest of the brand its sizes carry musical names.

It pairs a Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 wrapper, a hybrid grown on AJ Fernandez’s La Lilia farm in Estelí, with a Nicaraguan binder and filler that includes leaf from the first harvest of his Los Espejos farm. Medium to full in body, it has a woody, peppery core brightened by cinnamon, nutmeg and orange peel, with a hint of espresso and a spicy finish. At 6 1/2 by 52 it is the showpiece of the line, packed in boxes of 10. Cigar Aficionado rated it 94 points in its October 2025 issue.

A double taper narrows the cigar at both ends. The ring gauge, and with it the volume of smoke, builds as the burn moves toward the middle, so the blend unfolds in stages rather than all at once.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or aged rum.
