Aging Room
Aging Room is built around scarcity by design. Founder Rafael Nodal, a Cuban-born musician turned cigarmaker, specializes in small-batch cigars made from tobaccos too limited for most brands to bother with. The music runs through everything: vitolas carry names like Concerto and Maestro, a nod to his life as a pianist and violinist.
The breakout came in 2013, when the Aging Room Quattro F55 was named Cigar Aficionado’s No. 2 Cigar of the Year, the highest-ranked non-Cuban on the list. Most Aging Room blends are box-pressed and made in the Dominican Republic by José “Jochy” Blanco at Tabacalera La Palma, with later lines blended at AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua. Patient, polished, and produced in genuinely small numbers, Aging Room cigars reward smokers who care about what aged tobacco can do.
