Work of Art Maduro takes the Hemingway shape into darker ground without losing the line’s classic figurado identity. Arturo Fuente Hemingway Work Of Art Maduro is a Dominican perfecto made with a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, separating it clearly from the Cameroon-wrapped Natural Hemingway sizes.  

At 4 7/8 x 60, this is a wider, fuller Hemingway format that expands quickly after the tapered foot and settles into a thicker middle section early in the smoke. Rated 92 by Cigar Aficionado in 2019.  

The flavor usually starts with espresso, earth, and dark sweetness, then moves toward wood, pepper, and a drier finish as it burns into the broader section. Even with a shorter length, the larger ring gauge gives it a heavier feel than the Natural Hemingway vitolas, with a profile that fits later in the day more easily than the lighter Cameroon versions.  

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or porter.
