Description

The Cohiba Puro Dominicana Robusto is a Habano-wrapped robusto from the non-Cuban Cohiba line, handmade in the Dominican Republic. This is the non-Cuban Cohiba, made by General Cigar, sharing its name with the famous Cuban brand that cannot be sold in the United States.

It blends a Dominican Habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, black pepper, espresso, and a sweet, leathery spice. At 5 1/2 by 50, it burns cool and even.

Habano leaf takes its colour from sun. The higher on the plant it grows the darker and stronger it gets, which is why two cigars both labelled Habano can sit a full step apart in strength.

Sold as a single or a box of 20. Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or cognac.
