The Factory Smokes Shade Gordito is a short filler bundle cigar from Drew Estate, handmade at their factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Factory Smokes is the budget end of the catalog, and it is not pretending to be anything else.

A Connecticut Shade wrapper goes over an Indonesian binder with Indonesian and Nicaraguan filler. Mild to medium, cream and cedar with a little coffee behind it. Steady the whole way through, which is all it is trying to be. At 6 by 60, it burns cool enough.

These are mixed filler: some whole long leaf, but a lot of chopped leaf and cuttings. Mixed filler lights easy, burns faster and hotter than all long filler, and does not develop much from light to nub. That is the trade, and it is why a bundle of these costs about what one premium cigar costs.
