Description

The God of Fire by Don Carlos Robusto Tubo is the tubed version of the Don Carlos Robusto, the Fuente-made halo cigar for Prometheus, sealed in its own tube so it travels without getting crushed.

Inside is the same blend: an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over aged Dominican binder and filler, medium to full in body, with cedar, cocoa, espresso and sweet spice. The 5 1/4 by 50 robusto format smokes in about an hour.

God of Fire is the line Prometheus commissioned from the Fuente family. The name nods to the Titan who stole fire from the gods, a fitting choice for a company that made lighters and humidors long before it made cigars.

Sold as a single tube or a box of 8. Pairs well with cognac, espresso, or port.
