Description

The Gurkha Bourbon Collection Toro Natural is a Connecticut Shade toro from Gurkha, handmade in the Dominican Republic and finished in a clear tube with a secondary band from Hartfield and Co., a Bourbon County, Kentucky distillery.

It lays a Connecticut Shade wrapper over Dominican binder and filler at a medium body, built around bourbon barrel sweetness: cocoa, nuts, oak and vanilla. At 6 by 50, it burns cool and even.

The tube is the reason this one travels well. A cigar in cellophane dries out at the speed of the room it is sitting in. A capped tube slows that down, which is why tubed cigars are what most people reach for on a plane or in a jacket pocket.
