From Oscar Valladares’s Leaf by Oscar, the Leaf by Oscar 10th Anniversary Criollo Toro is a Criollo-wrapped toro, handmade in Honduras. Each cigar ships wrapped in a whole tobacco leaf instead of cellophane.

It blends a Honduran Criollo wrapper over a Honduran binder and filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, sweet spice, toasted almond, and a soft pepper. At 6 by 52, it burns cool and even.

Criollo is one of the oldest Cuban seed varieties still in use, an heirloom leaf kept around because nothing else brings quite the same sweetness.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
