La Guillotine Rotor is Les Fines Lames’ first guillotine, shipped in 2026 after years of customers asking the brand for one. The rounded body sits differently in the hand than a flat cutter, and the twin blades close through a rotating guard rather than sliding out the sides.

Surgical grade stainless steel blades, an 80 ring gauge opening, and a matte black finish. Eighty covers everything on a shelf today, including the 70s and 74s that stop most cutters dead.

A straight cut is the most versatile of the three common cuts. It works on any head shape, including the torpedoes and belicosos a punch cannot touch, and it gives the widest draw. Cut less than you think you need. You can always take more off, and a cigar cut too deep cannot be undone.
