Montecristo Classic No. 2 6 1/8″ x 52

Montecristo Classic No. 2 keeps the line’s smooth Connecticut-shade identity in a torpedo format that feels more pointed and formal than the round vitolas. It is handmade in the Dominican Republic with a Connecticut Shade wrapper over Dominican binder and filler tobacco, and it stays in the mild to medium range. In this 6 1/8 x 52 size, the tapered shape sets it apart from the Churchill and Robusto while holding to the same core blend.

The profile usually opens with cream, cedar, and toast, then leans toward nuts, coffee, and a measured spice note through the middle and finish. The torpedo presentation gives this one a more defined shape without changing the blend itself. Its overall style remains smooth, woody, and lightly peppered.

This is the most shape-driven version of the three, with the blend stretched across a longer figurado format rather than a standard round cigar. The line’s Connecticut wrapper character still stays at the center from start to finish.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or champagne.
