Description

This is the mild, Connecticut-wrapped expression of the non-Cuban Cohiba, made by General Cigar. The Cohiba Connecticut Robusto sets an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and a filler of Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobacco, at a mild to medium body.

The flavor usually stays smooth, with cedar, cream, and a light, nutty sweetness. At 5 1/2 by 50, the robusto gives an even, easygoing burn.

The mild to medium body makes it an easy daytime smoke. It is sold as singles or boxes of 20, so one is a simple first try. A creamy, Connecticut-wrapped Cohiba.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or champagne.
