Description

The Murcielago Toro BP is the 6 by 52 size of Espinosa’s Murcielago. Murcielago is Spanish for bat, and Espinosa’s tagline for it is We Own the Night.

It’s built on a Mexican San Andrés Capa Negra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and hearty Nicaraguan fillers. Espinosa calls it full-flavored, a deep and rich smoke full of cocoa and sweet spices. Cigar Aficionado scored the 7 by 50 Churchill of the same blend 90 points in August 2026, finding earth, fruit, ginger and molasses before an anise finish.

Every Murcielago but the Rabito is box-pressed, from the 7 1/2 by 38 Lancero up to the 6 by 60 Gordo.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
