Description

Lot 23 is Perdomo’s answer to a single vineyard wine. Every cigar in the line uses tobacco grown on one plot of a family farm in Estelí, a project Nick Perdomo Sr. started in 2000 with his son, Nick Jr.

The Sun Grown version wears a higher priming Nicaraguan wrapper aged five years, over Cuban seed Nicaraguan binder and filler aged five years too. Expect a rich, earthy smoke with nuts, almond and a little spice, and cedar on the finish. It stays in the medium range from start to end.

The 6 by 50 Toro gives the blend a little over an hour to move from earth into almond and cedar. Cigar Journal named Lot 23 its Best Value Brand of Nicaragua in 2012.

Pairs well with Scotch, bourbon, or coffee.
