Description

The Perla del Mar Corojo Double Toro is a Corojo-wrapped gordo from Perla del Mar, handmade in Nicaragua.

It blends a Honduran Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with leather, red pepper, dry cedar, and a sweet, earthy core. At 6 by 60, the thick ring keeps the smoke cool and rounded over a long burn.

Corojo is thicker and oilier than Habano and takes more sun, which is why a Corojo wrapped cigar usually sits a shade darker and a step spicier than a Habano from the same factory.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
