Description

The Perla del Mar Corojo Double Toro is a Corojo-wrapped gordo from Perla del Mar, handmade in Nicaragua.

It blends a Honduran Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium to full body, leading with leather, red pepper, dry cedar, and a sweet, earthy core. At 6 by 60, the thick ring keeps the smoke cool and rounded over a long burn.

Corojo is Cuban seed leaf, originally bred in the Vuelta Abajo and now grown mostly in Honduras and Nicaragua. It is prized for spice, and it is the reason a cigar with Corojo on the label usually has a peppery edge.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
