Volition America by Gurkha Connecticut Toro 6″ x 54

Connecticut is the easygoing end of the Volition America by Gurkha range, the blue-box blend made for a mild, smooth smoke. It comes as a 6 x 54 Toro, rolled in Nicaragua under a pale Connecticut-shade wrapper that sets a gentle, creamy tone from the first inch.

The blend pairs that wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers, kept in the mild to medium range so the flavor stays approachable rather than heavy. Connecticut shades typically lean toward cream, cedar, and a light nuttiness with a touch of sweetness, which makes this a natural daytime cigar and an easy pick for anyone who gravitates toward milder, Connecticut-wrapped blends.

Mild does not mean it skips the mission. Like the rest of the line, the Connecticut ships in a box of 13 for the 13 folds of the flag, and 13 percent of every sale goes to Folds of Honor to fund scholarships for the families of fallen and disabled service members and first responders. Smooth, well-made, and built around a cause worth backing.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
