My Father’s No. 5 wraps a smooth Ecuadorian Habano Rosado leaf around a classic Nicaraguan core. The My Father No. 5 Toro is made by the García family in Estelí with Nicaraguan binder and filler under that Habano Rosado wrapper, at a medium to full body.

The flavor usually leans toward cedar, nuts, coffee, and a light sweet spice. At 6 by 56, the round toro gives a long, even burn.

The medium to full body works across the day. It is sold as singles or boxes of 23, so one is an easy first taste. A smooth, classic Nicaraguan toro from My Father.

    Classic My Father cigar bringing those Cuban seed flavors from Nicaragua. Bits of baking spices in the beginning accompanied by prevalent notes of cedar, sweet cocoa, and espresso. As I smoked this cigar, I found the sweet notes to pick up in the final and the spice to stay consistent without becoming overbearing. Solid construction and burn, this cigar has been around since 2008 and I see why! The pairing recommendation for a porter was also spot on, thanks to CigarGrail and Moe for the suggestion!
