JFR Lunatic Maduro La Montana 7″ x 70

The largest format in the JFR Lunatic Maduro lineup, La Montana stretches the blend to seven inches across a 70 ring gauge.

This is an Aganorsa Leaf production out of Estelí, Nicaragua, using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Nicaraguan Aganorsa binder and long-filler. The Aganorsa farms are recognized for Cuban-seed tobacco grown with Cuban methods, which has long been the foundation of the JFR brand. La Montana runs 7 by 70 at medium-to-full body.

The profile usually opens with cocoa, coffee, and dark earth, then moves into leather and black pepper through the middle before finishing on cedar and a touch of natural sweetness from the wrapper. The combination of length and wide gauge produces an extended burn time and dense smoke, with flavors gaining depth as the cigar develops. The size fits a long evening session rather than a quick break.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
