Description

Le Bijou means the jewel, and 1922 is the year Pepin Garcia’s father was born. It is the Garcia family honouring the generation before Pepin, the way the My Father brand itself honours Pepin.

A dark Nicaraguan Habano oscuro wrapper covers a Nicaraguan puro, full in body. Expect dark chocolate, espresso, leather and black pepper, with a sweetness from the oscuro sitting on top of the spice. At 6 by 52, the toro gives the blend room to open without losing weight.

The line earned its reputation fast: the Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo Box Press was named Cigar Aficionado’s number one cigar of 2015. This is the same blend in a round toro, which is the easier of the two to find.
