Description

Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Davidoff Dominican Maduro Primeros is the darkest of the Dominican Primeros, a small cigar from the house Zino Davidoff built out of a Geneva tobacconist.

A Yamasá maduro wrapper covers a Peruvian binder and short filler of Dominican tobaccos, medium in body. Expect cocoa, coffee, cedar and sweet spice. At 4 1/8 by 34, the slim format pushes the wrapper forward and burns in about 15 to 25 minutes.

Narrow cigars are harder to roll and easier to burn hot, so a good one is a fair test of the factory that made it.

Sold in tins of 6, or a box of 30 holding five tins.

Pairs well with coffee, espresso, or porter.
