The 5 1/2 x 54 robusto keeps Rose of Sharon broad enough to feel rounded while still moving at a compact pace. Rose of Sharon Robusto is handmade in Nicaragua with an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican ligero filler tobacco. Southern Draw lists the line with graham cracker, caramel, toasted nuts, pepper, and spice as its core flavor direction.

That blend usually starts creamy and lightly sweet, then leans into toasted nuts, cedar, pepper, and a little more spice through the middle. The original Rose of Sharon was created as a tribute to Sharon Holt, and this robusto keeps the line in a familiar size without changing the blend itself.

    One of the best Connecticut Shade cigars on the market at a reasonable price. They use a sweet tip that’s not overly sugar and sets the tone for the smooth and buttery tobacco they use. I’ve found them to very consistent in construction and quality, which helps when looking for every day smokes. The cedar and lightly toasted nutty notes welcome you and stay with you from beginning to end. The baking spices never get pepper or abundant, just enough to keep you interested and to let the sweeter notes excel on the palate. My go to golfing cigar especially when Tee Time is early in the morning, recommend pairing this with an espresso or latte to maximize the flavors this cigar brings.
