Description

The Ozgener Firsat F52 is a Connecticut-wrapped robusto from Ozgener Firsat, handmade in the Dominican Republic. Ozgener Family Cigars was founded by Tim Ozgener, whose father Cano founded CAO Cigars.

It blends an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan filler at a medium body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 5 by 52, it burns cool and even.

A Connecticut wrapper is the most fragile leaf in common use, thin enough to tear at the cutter. It is why a cheap Connecticut cigar unravels at the head and a good one does not: the difference is leaf selection, not luck.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
