Description

Le Petit is a folding cigar knife from Les Fines Lames, made in Thiers, the French town that has been the centre of European cutlery for six centuries. This one carries the flag of the United States across the handle.

It cuts differently from a guillotine. Instead of closing blades around the cap, you draw a cutlery grade stainless blade through it, which lets you take off exactly as much as you want and stop. It handles up to a 70 ring gauge, so nothing in a normal humidor is too big for it.

Open the blade the other way and the body becomes a stand, so the cigar sits off the table between draws. Folded, it is flat enough for a jacket pocket.

Cut less than you think you need. You can always take more off, and a cigar cut too deep cannot be undone.
