Description

The Lost City blend traces to Andy Garcia’s 2005 film. The production needed a Cuban tobacco farm on screen, Carlos Fuente Jr. supplied the plants, and the tobacco set aside from that shoot became its own Opus X release.

A Dominican Sun Grown wrapper covers a Dominican puro, full in body. Expect cedar, sweet spice, coffee and dark fruit. At 5 3/4 by 52, it burns cool and even.

Dominican tobacco has a name for being mild, which is only half true. The country grows plenty of strong leaf, it just tends to be blended with a lighter hand.

Pairs well with cognac, bourbon, or espresso.
