Don Emmanuel is one of the newest names on the shelf, and it arrived with serious credentials. The brand was founded by Don Emmanuel, a Brazilian who holds top honors as a Master Cigar Sommelier. Its cigars are made by Eladio Díaz, the master blender who spent more than thirty years shaping Davidoff’s blends before opening his own Dominican factory, Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera. The debut line, Anunnaki, takes its name from ancient Sumerian mythology and brings together seven tobaccos, including a rare Dominican wrapper and a Mexican San Andrés binder. It opens gently, with floral sweetness, then deepens into cedar, cocoa, coffee, and spice across a medium to medium-full body. Built on a blender’s pedigree and a sommelier’s palate, Don Emmanuel cigars are a boutique bet worth watching.
