Sin Compromiso is the top-shelf line from Steve Saka’s Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, the boutique house also behind Sobremesa. The name means “without compromise,” and Saka, one of the industry’s most respected blenders, has called it the best blend of his career. It was the first Dunbarton cigar to feature a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
Rolled at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Estelí, where Saka has a long relationship, Sin Compromiso pairs that San Andrés Negro wrapper with an Ecuadorian binder and carefully sourced Nicaraguan filler. The result is a refined, medium to full-bodied smoke full of cocoa, espresso, and earth. It sits at a premium price and is made in limited quantities. Meticulous and built without shortcuts, Sin Compromiso cigars are a connoisseur’s indulgence.
