The Maduro is where the Volition America by Gurkha line turns dark and full. Packed into the red box, it is a 6 x 54 Toro rolled in Nicaragua under a Maduro wrapper fermented to a deep, oily brown.

The core underneath is the same Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican filler the line is built on, but the darker wrapper pushes the whole thing toward the full side. Maduro shades like this one tend to bring a natural, almost dessert-like sweetness over an earthy base, often with cocoa, coffee, and black pepper in the mix.
