Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Concerto 7″ x 50

The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Concerto is the churchill of the Concerto line, a soft box-pressed cigar from Rafael Nodal’s Aging Room, made by AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua. Concerto is the third blend in the Quattro Nicaragua family, after the original and Sonata, and like the rest of the brand its sizes carry musical names.

It pairs a Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 wrapper, a hybrid grown on AJ Fernandez’s La Lilia farm in Estelí, with a Nicaraguan binder and filler that includes leaf from the first harvest of his Los Espejos farm. Medium to full in body, it has a nutty, oaky core with licorice, leather and spice, and a hint of coffee bean on the finish. Cigar Insider, from Cigar Aficionado, rated it 92 points in July 2025. At 7 by 50 it is the longest size in the line, and the slow burn gives the blend room to move.

A soft box press squares the cigar only lightly after rolling. The edges stay rounded in the hand, while the flatter sides still slow the burn a little and keep the cigar from rolling off an ashtray.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or aged rum.
