Description

The Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition is a limited run from Altadis U.S.A., rolled by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua and capped at 4,000 boxes of 20. It came out in 2025.

It is a Nicaraguan puro: Nicaraguan wrapper, binder and filler, medium to full. Altadis describes nougat and roasted almonds on the first draws, then espresso, leather and oak through the middle. At 6 1/8 by 52 the belicoso head tapers to a point, which concentrates the smoke on the palate.

The Espiritu line has been built around places: Series No. 2 around Brazil, Series No. 3 around Mexico. The Miami Edition trades a country for a city, and the box art of flamingos, palms and Art Deco towers makes the point.

Pairs well with rum, Cuban coffee, or bourbon.
