AJ Fernandez Last Call Maduro Corticas 4″ x 52

AJ Fernandez Last Call Maduro Corticas keeps the line’s darker blend in a short, wide format.

The AJ Fernandez Last Call Maduro Corticas is a compact Nicaraguan-made cigar from AJ Fernandez’s Last Call Maduro line. The blend uses a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler, with the Corticas sized at 4 inches by 52 ring gauge. It is one of the short-format vitolas added to the Last Call lineup after the original Geniales size.

The profile tends to lean into earth, cocoa, black pepper, and toasted wood, with the wider ring gauge giving the short cigar a fuller feel without adding much length. The covered foot can bring a more wrapper-forward start before the Nicaraguan core settles in. This format fits a shorter smoke while keeping the Maduro line’s darker character intact.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
